Member of the Month: December 2021

Congratulations to our December 2021 Member-of-the-Month Danielle Frech Foti. She inspired us before she was pregnant and continued to amaze us while she ran through her pregnancy.

When did you start running with WBRRC ?

⁃ I started running with the club in 2016

Why did you join a running club ?

⁃ I joined the running club because my mom convinced me to join as she was already a member.

Favorite race ?

⁃ Disney is by far my favorite race, however, my favorite local race would have to be the Wellington 10 miler. I love the scenery for that race and the weather is usually amazing.

How miles a week ?

⁃ My mileage is usually around 20 to 25 miles per week depending on what I’m training for.

Favorite pre race drink/food ?

⁃ My go to prerace food is 2 Kashi waffles with peanut butter and bananas drizzled with a little honey. My go to pre-raised drink is definitely water and during a workout and after I like to drink the nuun hydration tablets.

What do you do for fun when you aren’t running ?

⁃ When I’m not running, I’m usually teaching group exercise classes lol. When not exercising, my favorite thing to do is be at Disney. At home, I just enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

What are your 2022 goals or future goal you want to share ?

⁃ My goals for next year are to run a marathon with my best running buddy Caroline and just get back to my pre-pregnancy race and work out times as I have slow down a lot lol

Tell us something we don’t know about you!

⁃ This is a hard one, but maybe some people don’t know that I have my doctorate in physical therapy. Also, I worked out through the day I went into labor. That day, I did one hour of spin followed by a one hour HIIT workout.
